Dr. Pronob Das is a distinguished Senior Scientist in the Agricultural Research Service (ARS) under the Indian Council of Agricultural Research. He is currently serving at the ICAR-Central Inland Fisheries Research Institute, Guwahati, India.
He completed his Bachelor of Fisheries Science (B.F.Sc) from Assam Agricultural University, followed by a Master’s degree (M.F.Sc in Fishery Hydrography) from Kerala University of Fisheries and Ocean Studies. He earned his Ph.D. in Aquaculture with first class and distinction from ICAR-Central Institute of Fisheries Education.
