Asst. Prof. Amitder Nath Chatterjee is currently serving as an Assistant Professor in Pharmacology at the Dr. Ambedkar Institute of Pharmaceutical Science, Jabaghat, Rourkela (Odisha) since March 2023. With a strong academic foundation in Pharmaceutical Sciences, he has consistently contributed to both teaching and research excellence. His responsibilities include mentoring undergraduate and postgraduate students, supervising research projects, and fostering an environment conducive to learning, innovation, and professional development.
Prior to his academic appointment, he worked as a Text Project Creator (Freelancer) with Physics Wallah, Noida, where he contributed to academic content creation and question framing for environmental and science subjects—reflecting his multidisciplinary understanding and commitment to educational quality.
Research Interests and Contributions
Prof. Chatterjee’s research interests encompass Pharmacovigilance, Antifungal Therapy, Drug Safety, and Natural Product Pharmacology. His scholarly work has been widely published in reputed national and international journals. He has authored and co-authored more than 10 research publications and two books:

Prof. Chatterjee has actively participated in numerous Faculty Development Programs (FDPs), workshops, and training sessions to enhance his pedagogical and research skills. These include hands-on training in animal experimentation (IISER, Kolkata), workshops on research methodology, NEP 2020, IPR, and scientific writing conducted by reputed universities and professional organizations such as IIT Madras, DAMITS, and SOA University.
