Dr. Nikhat Akhtar is a distinguished academician, researcher, and educator in the field of Computer Science and Engineering with nearly two decades of teaching, research, and academic administration experience. She is currently serving as Professor in the Department of Computer Science & Engineering at the Goel Institute of Technology & Management (GITM), Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, since September 2023.

Prior to her current position, she served as Associate Professor and Assistant Professor at Ambalika Institute of Management and Technology (AIMT), Lucknow, and Babu Banarasi Das Northern India Institute of Technology (BBDNIIT), Lucknow.
