Ms. Tanuja Kulshrestha is an emerging researcher in fisheries science and food technology, with a strong academic foundation shaped by her studies under the ICAR system. She has been a recipient of the ICAR-NTS (PG) Merit Scholarship, recognizing her academic excellence and research potential during postgraduate studies. Her research work focuses on innovative applications of fish proteins, seafood processing, functional foods, and sustainable technologies for quality enhancement and waste minimization in the fisheries sector.

Ms. Kulshrestha has contributed significantly to scientific literature, with publications ranging from review articles and research abstracts to popular science writings. Her works cover diverse themes such as ultrasonication in fish processing, cryoprotection, seafood sustainability, fish protein applications in functional foods, and novel product formulations. She has also authored a book chapter on fish protein–enriched millet pancake mix and presented research at multiple national seminars, with 11 participations in conferences, workshops, and symposia.
