Prof. Pramod Sharma is an eminent academician, soil scientist, and researcher with more than two decades of distinguished teaching, research, and academic leadership experience. He is currently serving as a Professor (Stage V) at the Institute of Agricultural Sciences, Banaras Hindu University (BHU), Varanasi, where he has made significant contributions in the fields of soil science, soil fertility management, environmental sustainability, and agricultural research.

Prof. Sharma began his academic career as a Lecturer at T.D.P.G. College, Jaunpur in July 2001. After gaining valuable teaching and research experience, he joined the Institute of Agricultural Sciences, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi in November 2006 as an Assistant Professor. Through his continuous academic excellence, research contributions, and professional achievements, he progressed through various academic stages and was promoted as Associate Professor in 2013 and Professor in 2016.
