Mr. Jatiprasad Barala is an emerging researcher in the field of Soil Science, with specialization in soil fertility, nutrient management, pedology, soil chemistry, micronutrients, and the management of problem soils. His research primarily focuses on improving soil health, enhancing crop productivity, and promoting sustainable agricultural practices, particularly in saline and nutrient-deficient environments.
He has served as a Senior Research Fellow (SRF) at ICAR–National Rice Research Institute (ICAR-NRRI) under the project "Paddy Straw Residues Management through In-Situ Microbial Decomposition with Mechanical Interventions (EAP-311)."
