Prof. Papa Dasari is a distinguished obstetrician, gynecologist, academician, researcher, and medical leader with nearly four decades of exemplary contributions to women's health, medical education, and clinical research. Born in Kanakalapeta, Yanam, into an agricultural family, she demonstrated academic excellence from an early age, receiving the Best Outgoing Student awards during both her school and intermediate education.

She completed her MBBS from Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER) in 1984, followed by DGO (1987) and MD in Obstetrics & Gynaecology (1988) from the same institution.
