Prof. Chintamani is an internationally acclaimed surgeon, academician, and educator with distinguished leadership roles across global surgical institutions. He currently serves as President and former “Governor” at large of the American College of Surgeons (India Chapter) and as International Surgical Advisor to the The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. He is also a Member of the prestigious ACS Academy of Master Surgeon Educators and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Medicine.

He is the Founding Chair of Breast Global, Founder President of the Asian Society of Mastology, and a Board Director of the Indian Cancer Genome Atlas. Prof. Chintamani serves as Chief of the Breast & Endocrine Unit at VMMC & Safdarjung Hospital.

An esteemed examiner since 2006 for the MRCS examination of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, he also evaluates postgraduate and doctoral programs including MCh (Surgical Oncology), MCh (Breast & Endocrine), DNB (Surgical Oncology), MS, and MBBS across premier Indian and international institutions. He is a recognized subject expert for faculty selection with the Union Public Service Commission and academic bodies such as AIIMS New Delhi.
