He currently serves as Regional Director, Central Ground Water Board (CGWB), Ministry of Jal Shakti, Government of India, after serving as Scientist 'D' and Senior Faculty at the Rajiv Gandhi National Ground Water Training & Research Institute (RGNGWTRI). Throughout his career, he has played a pivotal role in groundwater assessment, aquifer mapping, water quality management, and national capacity-building programmes, while contributing extensively to postgraduate education and professional training in water resource management.
