Dr. Manoj Kumar Jhariya is an accomplished academician and researcher serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Farm Forestry, Sant Gahira Guru Vishwavidyalaya (formerly Sarguja University), Ambikapur, Chhattisgarh, since 14 July 2014. With over 11 years of teaching and research experience, he has made significant contributions in the fields of Forestry, Agroforestry, and Environmental Sciences.
He obtained his Ph.D. in Forestry from Indira Gandhi Krishi Vishwavidyalaya (I.G.K.V.), Raipur, in 2014, where he was awarded the Gold Medal for securing the First Class First Position. His doctoral research focused on “Effect of Forest Fire on Microbial Biomass, Storage and Sequestration of Carbon in a Tropical Deciduous Forest of Chhattisgarh.”
He also holds an M.Sc. (Forestry) and B.Sc. (Agriculture) from the same university, both with first-class distinctions.
