Dr. Ramandeep Bawa is an accomplished academic, social anthropologist, researcher, author, and fashion and lifestyle technology professional associated with Panjab University, Chandigarh. She currently serves as an Assistant Professor (Guest Faculty) at the University Institute of Fashion Technology, Panjab University, a position she has held since March 2022. She completed her Ph.D. in Social Anthropology from Panjab University in 2019 under UGC-JRF, following which she served as an ICSSR Post-Doctoral Fellow in Social Anthropology from 2020 to 2022. Her academic journey also includes Junior and Senior Research Fellowships in the Department of Anthropology.
