Dr. Devesh Kumar Pathak is currently serving as a Project Research Scientist-I at the Institute of Nano Science and Technology (INST), Mohali. He completed his Ph.D. in Physics from the Indian Institute of Technology Indore in November 2021 under the supervision of Prof. Rajesh Kumar. His doctoral research focused on the synthesis, characterization, and applications of nanomaterial-based electrodes, with particular emphasis on electrochromic devices and their optical-electrochemical properties.
Following his Ph.D., Dr. Pathak pursued postdoctoral research at the University of Seoul with Dr. Hong Chul Moon, where he specialized in electrochromic-battery integrated smart devices, including flexible and stretchable systems. He further expanded his research experience as a postdoctoral associate at the University of Minnesota in Prof. Kelsey Stoerzinger’s lab, focusing on nitrate electro-reduction and catalyst surface dynamics.

Dr. Pathak’s research lies at the intersection of nanotechnology, electrochemistry, and materials science. His expertise includes:
