Dr.  Pavan Sugoor is an accomplished Surgical Oncologist, currently serving as an Associate Professor in the Department of Surgical Oncology at Kidwai Memorial Institute of Oncology, Bangalore, India. He completed his M.S. in General Surgery in 2009, securing 3rd rank in the final university examination. He went on to obtain his M.Ch. in Surgical Oncology from the Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai. one of India’s premier cancer centres, where he received advanced training in oncologic surgery and completed MCh certification. 

Dr. Pavan Sugoor has further pursued specialized training in Robotic and Minimally Invasive Surgery, with a predominant focus on Gastrointestinal and Colorectal Cancer Surgery, Breast and Oncoplasty. Over the years, he has made significant contributions to clinical practice, research, and surgical education, advancing the field of surgical oncology through innovation and dedication to patient care.

  • Implementation and assessment of Enhanced Recovery After Surgery (ERAS) programs in colorectal surgery

  • Studies on the impact of diabetes and anesthetic techniques on cancer outcomes
