Dr. Vinod Kumar Nigam is a distinguished Professor at Birla Institute of Technology (BIT), Mesra, with more than 25 years of academic, research, and industrial experience in biotechnology, industrial microbiology, enzyme technology, microbial bioprocessing, environmental biotechnology, bioinformatics, and bioremediation. He began his professional career as a Technology Development Engineer at JK Pharmachem before joining the Birla Institute of Scientific Research as a Scientist. Through his consistent academic excellence, he progressed to Reader, Associate Professor, and currently serves as Professor at BIT Mesra (since January 2023).
