Dr. Satyabrata Meher is an accomplished biomedical researcher with extensive expertise in sickle cell disease, hemoglobinopathies, molecular hematology, genetic polymorphisms, and clinical laboratory research. He is currently serving as Research Scientist-I at the Multidisciplinary Research Unit (MRU) (under ICMR-DHR), Veer Surendra Sai Institute of Medical Science and Research (VIMSAR), Burla, Sambalpur, Odisha. His professional association with the Odisha Sickle Cell Project under the National Health Mission (NHM) spans more than a decade, progressing through the roles of Field Worker, Programme Associate, and Research Assistant.
