Prof. Arunangshu Mukherjee is a distinguished hydrogeologist, groundwater scientist, and academic leader with over three decades of professional experience in groundwater investigation, hydrogeology, water resource management, and environmental sustainability. He currently serves as Director, Centre for Advanced Water Technology and Management (CAWTM) at Manav Rachna International Institute of Research and Studies (MRIIRS), Faridabad, a position he has held for the past nine years.

Prior to joining academia, he rendered 24 years of dedicated service in the Central Ground Water Board (CGWB), Government of India, including three years with the Upper Yamuna River Board under the Ministry of Water Resources, River Development & Ganga Rejuvenation.
