Dr. Abdulla Al Mamon is a theoretical physicist and cosmologist specializing in Gravitation and Cosmology, with research interests spanning dark energy, dark matter, general relativity, modified gravity, scalar-field cosmology, and black-hole physics. He earned his Ph.D. from Visva-Bharati, a Central University and Institution of National Importance, in 2016, with doctoral research focused on theoretical aspects of scalar-field models of dark energy and the accelerated expansion of the Universe.

He currently serves as an Assistant Professor (Stage-II) in the Department of Physics at Vivekananda Satavarshiki Mahavidyalaya (VSM), Jhargram, West Bengal, affiliated with Vidyasagar University, where he has been serving since December 2019. His teaching areas include Mathematical Methods, Electromagnetism, Thermodynamics, Classical Mechanics, Quantum Mechanics, and Nuclear Physics.

Before joining VSM, Dr. Al Mamon worked as a National Post-Doctoral Fellow at Jadavpur University, supported by the Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB), Government of India. Earlier, he was a Post-Doctoral Fellow at the Manipal Centre for Natural Sciences, a Centre of Excellence under the Manipal Academy of Higher Education.
