Prof. Gadadhar Dash is a distinguished academician and researcher serving as Professor & Head of the Department of Aquatic Animal Health at the Faculty of Fishery Sciences, West Bengal University of Animal and Fishery Sciences (WBUAFS), Kolkata. He demonstrated exceptional academic excellence early in his career, securing First Class First position in his M.F.Sc. programme (1993), for which he was awarded the Gold Medal of Merit. He also qualified for the prestigious ICAR Junior Research Fellowship, ranking 3rd on an all-India basis.
