Dr. Abhijeet Champati  is an accomplished Poultry Scientist currently serving as Assistant Professor at the Institute of Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry, SOA (Deemed to be University), Bhubaneswar, since 1 November 2024. He is actively involved in teaching courses of Livestock Production Management (LPM), Poultry Science and Livestock Farm Practices, while also contributing to institutional research activities. In addition, he serves as In-charge of the Poultry Unit and undertakes additional responsibilities at the Livestock Farm Complex, SOA (DU).

He completed his MVSc in Poultry Science from Odisha University of Agriculture and Technology (OUAT), Bhubaneswar, securing the University Gold Medal (2019). He further qualified ASRB ICAR-NET (Poultry Science) in 2021 and was awarded the prestigious ICAR Senior Research Fellowship (SRF) for PhD (AIR-01) during 2020–2023.
