Dr. Satanand Mishra has been serving as Principal Scientist at the CSIR–Advanced Materials and Processes Research Institute (CSIR-AMPRI), Bhopal, India since 2022, and as an Associate Professor at the Academy of Scientific and Innovative Research (AcSIR), Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh. He possesses a distinguished record of interdisciplinary research that integrates Data Mining, Artificial Intelligence, Internet of Things (IoT), Sensor Design, Material Development, Radiation Shielding, and Water Resources Management.

Academic and Professional Journey

Dr. Mishra began his professional career as an Assistant Director-II (HM) in the Central Water Commission, New Delhi, after qualifying the UPSC examination, where he served from June 2006 to February 2010. Subsequently, he joined the CSIR–Central Mechanical Engineering Research Institute (CSIR–CMERI) as a Junior Scientist in February 2010. In July 2012, he transferred to CSIR-AMPRI, Bhopal, where he continued to advance his research career as Scientist, Senior Scientist, and now Principal Scientist.

• Internet of Things (IoT) and Sensor Development

• Material Science and Radiation Shielding

• Water Resources Management, Water Quality Monitoring, Hydrological Modeling, and Flood Forecasting

Dr. Mishra has successfully led 28 research projects, demonstrating expertise in advanced materials, smart sensors, and environmental monitoring technologies.
