Assoc. Prof. Balaraman Deivasigamani is a distinguished academician, marine biologist, researcher, and innovator with extensive experience in the field of Marine Biology, Fish Immunology, Aquaculture Biotechnology, and Marine Sciences. He is currently serving as Associate Professor at the Centre of Advanced Study (CAS) in Marine Biology, Faculty of Marine Sciences, Annamalai University, where he has been contributing since February 2017.
He began his academic career as a Guest Lecturer at Pachaiyappa's College (1998–2005) and joined Annamalai University as Assistant Professor in 2005.
