Dr. Sudipta Kumar Ghorai is an accomplished academician, researcher, and administrator in the field of Zoology and Environmental Science with extensive experience in higher education, biodiversity conservation, coastal ecology, and molecular taxonomy. He qualified NET (2004 & 2005), SLET (2004), and GATE (2004), demonstrating strong academic merit at the national level.

He began his teaching career as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Zoology at Egra SSB College in 2006 and was promoted to Associate Professor in 2019.
