Prof. Wahengbam Chandbabu Singh is an eminent academician, administrator, researcher, and higher education leader with extensive experience spanning more than three decades in teaching, research, academic governance, and institutional development. He is currently serving as the Vice-Chancellor of Dhanamanjuri University, Government of Manipur, from April 2025 onwards and is also holding the additional responsibility of Vice-Chancellor of Manipur Technical University.

He has served as Registrar of Manipur University from June 2019 to March 2025 and has been associated with the university as Professor since February 2014.
