Dr. Sagar Bag is currently associated with the Department of Biophysics, Molecular Biology and Bioinformatics, University of Calcutta, Kolkata, India. Having consistently excelled in higher education, Dr. Bag secured first-class first rank in M.Sc. (Zoology with genetics and molecular biology) and received gold medal from Vidyasagar University. - DNA–flavonoid interactions and microplastic pollutants
- Natural products chemistry, especially alkaloids and flavonoids
- Molecular modelling, protein chemistry, and biophysical techniques (NMR, ITC, UV/Fluorescence spectroscopy)
- Phytomedicine and DNA origami applications in cancer theranostics
