Prof. Dr. Gampa Vijaya Kumar is a distinguished pharmaceutical educator and researcher with 28+ years of experience in teaching, research and academic leadership. He is currently serving as Professor and Head, Department of Pharmacy, KGR Institute of Technology and Management, Medchal-Malkajgiri, Telangana (2015–Present), where he oversees departmental operations, student mentoring and research initiatives.
Previously, he held senior leadership positions as Professor and Principal at CVM College of Pharmacy, Karimnagar (2014–2015), Professor and Principal at Vikas Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Rajahmundry (2008–2014), Professor and Principal at Pathfinder Institute of Pharmacy Education & Research, Warangal (2007–2008), and Professor and Principal at Vaageswari College of Pharmacy, Karimnagar (2004–2007). He also served as Principal at Noorie College of Pharmacy, K.G.F. (2003–2004) and held academic positions as Assistant Professor and Lecturer at various institutions from 1996 onwards.

Prof. Dr. Gampa Vijaya Kumar has developed a comprehensive research profile in pharmaceutical sciences, analytical chemistry, drug formulation, biotechnology and natural product research. His doctoral work focused on lipase-catalyzed reactions in organic solvents for flavour ester synthesis. He has served as Approved External Research Supervisor under Acharya Nagarjuna University and JNTU Hyderabad, guiding multiple research scholars to successful thesis completion.
