Dr. Angsuman Chanda is a distinguished Indian zoologist, educator, and researcher specializing in taxonomy, crustacean biology, fisheries science, aquatic biodiversity, and conservation ecology. He earned both his B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees as Gold Medallist and subsequently completed his Ph.D. in Zoology. He is also a Fellow of ISCA (FISCA) and FSASS, reflecting his professional recognition within the scientific community.
Currently, he serves as Associate Professor in the Post Graduate Department of Zoology at Raja N. L. Khan Women's College (Autonomous), affiliated with Vidyasagar University, West Bengal.
