Prof. Sanjay Mishra is a distinguished Professor, Biotechnology expert, researcher, and academic leader with more than 35 years of experience in teaching, research, innovation, and academic administration. He is currently serving as Professor, Department of Biotechnology; Professor-in-Charge, Research & Development; and Professor-in-Charge, Innovation Centre at SR Institute of Management & Technology (Affiliated to AKTU, Lucknow), Uttar Pradesh, India.

He completed his Ph.D. in Biochemistry (Plant Lipid Biotechnology) from the University of Lucknow in 1993 with research work on “Changes in Lipid Content and Lipid Metabolism of Brassica campestris upon Infection by Cuscuta reflexa.” He obtained his M.Sc. in Biochemistry and B.Sc. (Zoology, Botany & Chemistry) from the University of Lucknow.

Prof. Mishra has gained extensive international research exposure through his association with reputed institutions in Japan and the USA, including serving as Postdoctoral Fellow at Kent State University, Ohio, USA; Boston Biomedical Research Institute, Massachusetts, USA; and Visiting Scientist at National Institute of Bioscience & Human Technology, Tsukuba, Japan.

Prof. Mishra has made significant contributions in the fields of Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Bioinformatics, Plant Biotechnology, Nanobiotechnology, Nutraceuticals, Healthcare Biotechnology, and Environmental Biotechnology.
