Dr. Pavithra S T is an accomplished academician and researcher with 20 years of teaching experience in finance, accountancy, statistics, marketing, business management and managerial communication. She is currently serving as Professor and Principal at VVN Degree College (June 2026–Present), providing academic and institutional leadership.

Previously, she served as Associate Professor and Head of Commerce & Management at SRN Adarsh College (October 2023–May 2026), where she taught undergraduate and postgraduate students and led the commerce and management department. Before that, she held the position of Associate Professor at Dayananda Sagar College of Arts, Science and Commerce (November 2022–September 2023), and Assistant Professor at R V Institute of Legal Studies (September 2020–October 2022), teaching BBA LLB students. She also served as Assistant Professor at R V Institute of Management (May 2008–August 2020), where she taught MBA students, and as Faculty Co-ordinator at R V Institute of Management (August 2006–April 2008), teaching BBM students.

Dr. Pavithra has developed a multidisciplinary research profile spanning financial performance analysis, entrepreneurship education, green finance, financial literacy and organisational sustainability. Her research output includes 21 published papers in international journals, national conferences, and conference proceedings. She co-ordinated a Two-day International Conference on Global Business Crisis: Management Strategies for Sustainability and Development (December 2013) and a National Conference on Changing Paradigms of Business, Management and Commerce (May 2023). She co-ordinated an intercollegiate postgraduate students paper presentation competition from 2011 to 2018. She has delivered numerous guest lectures on fundamental management and accounting concepts, communication and presentation skills, and personality development. She has engaged in social service through computer skills training for senior citizens, free coaching for students in slum areas, and personality development programmes for government school children.
