Dr. Rajat Bansal is a dedicated transfusion medicine specialist with expertise in immunohematology, blood transfusion services, patient blood management (PBM), donor safety, and quality improvement in blood banking. He is currently serving as Assistant Professor and Medical Officer In-Charge (MO/IC) in the Department of Transfusion Medicine at SGT Medical College, Hospital and Research Institute, Gurugram. Prior to this, he worked as Senior Resident in the Department of Immunohematology and Blood Transfusion at NIMS Hospital, Jaipur, where he contributed to clinical transfusion services, blood center administration, and academic research.

His professional interests encompass blood donor management, immunohematology, transfusion safety, hemovigilance, alloimmunization, and innovative approaches to patient blood management.
