Dr. Jaya Naik has established himself as a leading researcher in the field of Fisheries Science, with a specialization in Fish Processing Technology. He was awarded the Rajiv Gandhi National Fellowship (RGNF) by the University Grants Commission (UGC), New Delhi, for his Ph.D. program at the College of Fisheries, Mangalore (2008–2011). Over the years, Dr. Naik has contributed extensively to fisheries research, sustainable fishing practices, and the development of value-added fish products.
