He has received advanced training from premier medical institutions in the USA, Taiwan, Thailand, Australia, and the Republic of China. He was awarded the prestigious RG Saraiya International Fellowship by the Association of Plastic Surgeons of India (APSI), along with ICMR Fellowship in Hand and Microsurgery and FHNO Fellowship in Head and Neck Cancer Reconstruction Surgery.

He has also completed specialized fellowship training in Sex Reassignment Surgery in Thailand and performed the first documented male-to-female sex change surgery in Bihar. His areas of expertise include burns management, oncoplastic head and neck reconstruction, microsurgery, lymphology, wound care, aesthetic surgery, hair transplantation, liposuction, breast surgeries, facial aesthetic procedures, and complex reconstructive surgery.
