Prof.Sanjay Kumar Agarwal is one of India’s most distinguished nephrologists and transplant physicians, with more than four decades of dedicated service in nephrology, renal transplantation, chronic kidney disease (CKD) prevention, dialysis programs, and medical education. He had served as Chairman, Department of Nephrology & Kidney Transplant Medicine at Marengo Asia Hospital Gurugram, India. Currently he is in-charge of Save The Kidney Clinic, Gurugram.

Prior to joining Marengo Asia Hospital, he served at All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi in several prestigious academic positions, including Professor & Head, Department of Nephrology. His long academic tenure at AIIMS significantly contributed to the advancement of nephrology education, dialysis and renal transplantation services, and nephrology research in India.

He has also served as Assistant Professor at Sanjay Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Medical Sciences (SGPGI), Lucknow. Throughout his academic career, he has trained more than 150 postgraduate and super-specialty residents, shaping future generations of nephrologists and transplant specialists.
