Dr. Varun T V is an accomplished Ayurveda academician, clinician, and researcher with over 5 years and 1 month of teaching experience as Assistant Professor and currently serving as Associate Professor and Consultant at Rajeev Institute of Ayurveda Medical Science and Research Center, Hassan, Karnataka.
He is also actively engaged in clinical practice as a Shalakya Consultant (Part-Time) at Santhosh Ayurvidhana Ayurveda Multi Specialty Hospital, Kerala, and has previously served as a consultant physician at Vaidyarathnam P.S. Varier’s Kottakkal Arya Vaidyasala (Agency), Kannur for over two and a half years.
Dr. Varun has also contributed to public healthcare as a Medical Officer at Government Ayurveda Dispensary, Chengala (Contract Basis) and completed rural postings at GAD Ambalathara and GAD Panathady, strengthening his grassroots clinical exposure.
Clinical & Research Expertise
Dr. Varun specializes in Shalakya Tantra, with focused clinical and research expertise in ophthalmic and ENT disorders. His postgraduate research titled:
“A Comparative Clinical Study on the Therapeutic Effect of Yastimadhu Ghrita Tharpana and Yashtimadhu Ghrita Aschyothana in Computer Vision Syndrome”
demonstrates his contribution to evidence-based Ayurvedic management of modern lifestyle disorders.
He has completed his internship from PN Panicker Souhruda Ayurveda Medical College, Kerala, and actively mentors AIAPGT aspirants in Shalakya Tantra under Easy Ayurveda.
