Dr. Mahesh Kumar Samota is a dedicated agricultural scientist with strong expertise in horticulture crop processing and post-harvest technologies. Since 04 April 2020, he has been serving in the Horticulture Crop Processing (HCP) Division at ICAR-Central Institute of Post-Harvest Engineering and Technology (ICAR-CIPHET), where he is actively engaged in research, innovation, and technology development aimed at improving value addition, processing efficiency, and sustainability in horticultural crops.
He has demonstrated academic excellence at the national level by qualifying prestigious competitive examinations conducted by ICAR, securing All India Rank 13 in ICAR-JRF and All India Rank 4 in ICAR-SRF, reflecting his strong foundation in agricultural sciences and research aptitude.
