Dr. Jannatun Zia is currently serving as a Post-Doctoral Fellow in the Department of Chemistry, S R University, India (August 2025 – Present). She previously worked as an Assistant Professor at Siddhartha Academy of Higher Education, Vijayawada (July 2023 – July 2025), where she taught Engineering Chemistry, Applied Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, and Material Chemistry while supervising undergraduate research projects.
Her earlier research experience includes serving as a Research Associate (RA) and Senior Research Fellow (SRF) at Jamia Millia Islamia University, New Delhi, where she conducted advanced studies on organic–inorganic nanohybrids and their photocatalytic applications under CSIR-funded projects.

Research Expertise

Dr. Zia’s research focuses on Nanomaterials, Conducting Polymers, Organic–Inorganic Hybrids, Metal–Organic Frameworks (MOFs), and Photocatalysis. Her interdisciplinary work spans environmental and energy applications, electrocatalysis, and drug-delivery systems. She has made significant contributions to developing novel nanohybrids and polymer-based catalysts for sustainable and green chemistry solutions.
