Dr. Shubham Yadav is currently serving as an Assistant Professor at the Oriental Institute of Science and Technology, Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, India (September 2024 – Present). He completed his Ph.D. in Astroparticle Physics from the Birla Institute of Technology and Sciences, Pilani Campus (July 2019 – August 2024), under the supervision of Prof. Madhukar Mishra and co-supervisor Prof. Tapomoy Guha Sarkar. Earlier, he pursued his Master’s Project in Material Science and Technology at the Materials Research Center, Malaviya National Institute of Technology, Jaipur (January 2018 – July 2018) under Prof. Kanupriya Sachdev.
During his doctoral studies, Dr. Yadav also served as a Teaching Assistant at BITS Pilani (2019–2024), contributing significantly to student mentoring and academic instruction.
Research Experience & Publications
Dr. Yadav’s research focuses on Astroparticle Physics, particularly on neutron stars, axion emission, and axion-photon conversion in strongly magnetized environments. He has authored numerous high-impact publications in reputed journals including The European Physical Journal C, Journal of Astrophysics and Astronomy, and Journal of Subatomic Particle and Cosmology.
