Dr. T. Udayakumar is a distinguished academician currently serving as the Dean at the University College of Engineering, Ramanathapuram, a constituent institution of Anna University, Chennai. He is also an Assistant Professor (Selection Grade) in the Department of Mechanical Engineering. With over 15 years of experience in teaching, research, and academic administration since December 2010, he has played a pivotal role in shaping engineering education and institutional development.

He completed his Ph.D. from Anna University, Chennai (2019), and obtained both his Master’s (2009) and Bachelor’s (2003) degrees from Alagappa Chettiar College of Engineering and Technology, Karaikudi.
