Dr. Ambar Dutta is an accomplished academician and researcher in Computer Science and Engineering, with extensive experience in teaching, research supervision, academic administration, and interdisciplinary research. He earned his Ph.D. in Engineering (Computer Science) from Jadavpur University, Kolkata, in 2012, with research focused on Corner Detection and Matching in Digital Images. He also holds an MCA from Jadavpur University and a B.Sc. (Honours) in Mathematics from Presidency College, University of Calcutta.

Dr. Dutta currently serves as Associate Professor at Amity Institute of Information Technology, Amity University, Kolkata, a position he has held since July 2019. Previously, he served in various academic positions at Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, including Assistant Professor, Senior Lecturer/Assistant Professor, and Lecturer.
