Dr. Amita Singh is an accomplished veterinarian, animal research scientist, academician, and laboratory animal science professional with extensive experience in veterinary surgery, translational research, animal experimentation, animal welfare, and biomedical research. Her early research training at C.V.Sc., G.B. Pant University of Agriculture & Technology, Pantnagar involved surgical and post-operative management of splenic trauma in dogs, acute abdomen, critically ill traumatized patients, and surgical affections of limbs and hooves in dairy animals.
