Dr. Ashutosh Kumar Tiwari is an academic urologist whose career integrates advanced clinical urology, surgical education, research, academic leadership, and institution-building. He completed his M.Ch. in Urology from IPGME&R, Kolkata (2019–2022) after advanced clinical training as a Senior Resident in Urology at AIIMS Raipur. He subsequently worked as a Junior Consultant Urologist before joining AIIMS Deoghar in 2023.

A major achievement of Dr. Tiwari's career has been the establishment of the Department of Urology at AIIMS Deoghar from its inception. The department formally commenced on 13 June 2023, and he currently serves as Assistant Professor and Faculty-in-Charge, functioning as the sole urology faculty member.
