Dr. Hans-Joachim Rudolph pursued his medical studies across leading German universities including Würzburg, Göttingen, Berlin, and Munich (1970–1980). He completed his doctorate at the Institute for Clinical Chemistry, München-Schwabing (1978–1980), focusing on biochemical research.

He trained as a resident in Internal Medicine (1980–1989) in Berlin and Bad Pyrmont and became a certified Internist and Rheumatology specialist (1988/1990). He served as Assistant Medical Director (1989–1996) and has been working as a medical consultant and practicing rheumatologist in Berlin since 1997 under the Association of Statutory Health Insurance Physicians.
