Prof. Satish Kumar Verma is a distinguished academician, forensic medicine specialist, researcher, educator, and administrator with more than four decades of exceptional contribution to the field of Forensic Medicine & Toxicology in India. He is presently serving as Professor & Head, Department of Forensic Medicine & Toxicology at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Haryana.

Previously, he served as Director Professor, Proctor, and Head of the Department of Forensic Medicine & Toxicology at University College of Medical Sciences and GTB Hospital, New Delhi, one of India’s premier medical institutions. His academic journey includes appointments at All India Institute of Medical Sciences and Safdarjung Hospital, where he laid the foundation for his extensive medico-legal and forensic expertise.

Recognized as a postgraduate teacher since 1992, Prof. Verma has mentored numerous MD scholars and guided advanced forensic research in areas including homicide studies, forensic toxicology, age estimation, autopsy pathology, custodial deaths, trauma analysis, and medico-legal ethics.
