Assoc. Prof. Emmanuel Daanoba Sunkari is an internationally recognized mining geologist, environmental scientist, and sustainability expert currently serving as Associate Professor of Mining Engineering, Director of Environment and Ecology, and Director of the Centre of Excellence in Environmental Science and Sustainability at Sir Padampat Singhania University (SPSU), India. He also holds the position of Senior Research Associate at the University of Johannesburg, South Africa.
His academic journey includes a B.Sc. in Earth Science from the University for Development Studies (Ghana), an M.Sc. in Geological Engineering from Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University (Türkiye), and a Ph.D. in Geological Engineering from Niğde Ömer Halisdemir University (Türkiye), where he graduated at the top of his class. In recognition of his exceptional global contributions, he was awarded an Honorary Doctor of Philosophy in Environmental Sustainability by Kennedy University, Paris, France.
