Dr. Mohd Ashraf Ganie is a distinguished endocrinologist and medical researcher serving as Director of SKIMS and Ex-officio Secretary to the Government of J&K (EOSG). He is also Professor (Direct) in the Department of Endocrinology and Diabetes, Sub-Dean (Research), and Head of the Department of Clinical Research at Sher-i-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS), Srinagar, India.

He has held the position of Director and EOSG at SKIMS since 25th June 2024, overseeing strategic initiatives in medical research, patient care, and institutional development.
