Prof. Tulika Chakrabarti is an accomplished Professor and Head, Department of Sciences, School of Engineering and  Sciences, Sir Padampat Singhania University, Udaipur, Rajasthan, India. She began her research career as a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) and Senior Research Fellow (SRF) at the Indian Institute of Chemical Biology (CSIR), Government of India (2008–2012), where she developed expertise in natural product chemistry, medicinal chemistry, and drug discovery. She joined Sir Padampat Singhania University as an Assistant Professor in 2012, was promoted to Associate Professor in 2023, and became Professor in 2026.

Her research integrates natural product chemistry, medicinal chemistry, artificial intelligence, machine learning, environmental sustainability, computational biology, and healthcare analytics, making her an interdisciplinary scientist with international recognition.

Research Contributions

Prof. Chakrabarti has made significant contributions to natural product-based drug discovery, particularly in identifying bioactive phytochemicals targeting Leishmania donovani DNA Topoisomerase IB, cancer therapeutics, and pharmacological studies. In recent years, she has successfully expanded her research into artificial intelligence, machine learning, cloud computing, biomedical data analytics, renewable energy systems, and healthcare diagnostics.
